| Description | In the period of the First Czechoslovak Republic, the social science research of Subcarpathian Ruthenia was quite intense and brought a number of works that were also devoted to the traditional folk culture of this part of the newly constituted state. In addition to partial journal studies and articles, attempts were made to monograph the folk culture (A. Kožmínová), analyzed the ethic issue of the borders of the Ruthenian settlement (J. Húsek), and ethnographic material from Carpathian Ruthenia appeared the historical syntheses. |
