| Description | The author of the present study deals with the subjects, authors, disciplines, methodology and spheres of research for the Brno Texts on Slovak Studies which cover the period of more than 20 years. The author accentuates the representativeness of these volumes in which the researchers from 8 countries participated: literary criticism plays here the most important role. The creators of these volumes and their editors manifest the real and realistic interest in the most delicate questions of Czech – Slovak literary relations at the background of political and economic development during several decades of their co-existence in one state. These volumes manifest the diversity of methods from structural through receptionist to cognitivist and others, heterogeneity of disciplines including comparative, genre and area studies. Therefore, the volumes demonstrate the general current situation in literary criticism and represent a substantial contribution to the development of its methods. |
