| Description | Work and personality of Jiří Veltruský is considered non-problematic, even notorious part of Czech theory of theatre. But result of his status as "classic" is, that we know his concepts, but do not read his texts. In lecture, based of research in Veltrusky's inheritance (manuscripts, corespondence) and reconstruction of historical context I seek to find, how inner dynamics of Veltrusky's thinking could be inspiring for theory of theatre and drama today. |
