| Description | The present talk introduces so called "Kooryuukai" project. In this project students of Japanese studies programs of Masaryk University (Czech rep.) and Komenský University (Slovakia) are given an opportunity to interact with Japanese students of sociology (Doshisha University/Ryukoku Universitz, Kyoto). The meetings take place in Brno (CZ) and Bratislava (SVK) and consist in presentation of Czech, Slovak and Japanese cultural aspects and special topics in the area of tourism by Czech, Slovak and Japanese students, followed by free conversation. The presentation introduces main starting points and goals of the project, as well as ways in which the project transcends the narrow academic field and offers perspectives of future development. |
