| Description | The serial Der Treue Eckart, issued from 1884 to 1887 in Brno was a partial newspaper based on the opinion of the jingoistic Germans – part of the German-National movement. There are several signs of possible growing of aggressiveness – even radicalization – on the pages of this newspaper targeted on its readers and future voters of German-National Party. Not all these signs are to be found within particular news, rubrics but also in the stories full of sarcasm, humour and political-satirical stories. One of the satirical stories is analyzed in the present treatise. |
