| Description | There were many families settled in Modřice for several generations before 1945. The oldest ones can be traced as far as 16th century. We have much more information about the period after the Thirty-Years-War and especially about 18th and 19th century. They were land owners originally settled in the historical core of the town. Many of them had Czech names which means they came from neighbouring villages. |
