Description The article is dealing with the burial mound cemetery Sedlec-Hůrka, which in the context of the West Bohemian Middle Bronze Age Cemeteries stands out by the high number of graves with weapons. On the basis of this cemetery, the hypothesis was expressed that the status of the warriors of the Middle Bronze Age was linked to men of productive age, and at a certain stage of life each man reached this status. As well the high number of graves with weapons seems to be result of higher mortality of adult men, perhaps as a result of war conflicts.
