Citation
Description The aim of the presentation is to look at different ways of mediating software art through the analysis of the exhibition project Funware / Fun with Software, which took place in two different locations in the years 2010-2011 and in this context a theoretical application of alternative exhibition models defined by Sarah Cook (3). It is an attempt to understand the form of curatorial models and interpretive frameworks used to examine the nature and characteristics of works that use the software code as aesthetic material. At the same time, such historical research serves to think about ways of applying various (also experimental) curatorial models in one's own curatorial practice in the context of software art. From the application of selected models, three educational and curatorial strategies emerged, which we used together with my colleague/peer to test the possibilities of mediating the function of software through creative practice.
