| Description | The article introduces the reader to the statue, which is located in the garden of Villa Löw-Beer in Brno, and thus reminds its author Zdeněk Řehořík, whose name is not very well known to the general public. Readers are offered a look at fine art and the generation of the 1980s, which brought a new dynamic element to the Brno art scene. The next generation was not afraid to present their concept of social issues and present their work to the public. However, the artistic level of Řehoř's sculptures fell sharply at the end of the 1990s, which was attributed to the author's popularity of depicting female nudes and the number of accepted orders for the creation of a predefined work in public space. |
