| Description | The catalogue contains an analytical and a documentation part. The analytical part summarises the domestic discussion on the concept of terroir and presents the results of research on the historical hierarchy of Moravian vineyards and wines. Due to the fact that the text focuses on the human dimension of the term terroir, it also pays attention to the manifestations of material culture and deals with the typology of viticultural buildings, particularly presses and cellars. At the same time, the authors outline basic historical characteristics of six selected wine-growing regions. Finally, the publication documents and describes the exhibited viticultural objects, which are an evidence of a specific Moravian viticultural culture. |
