| Description | During the lecture, students will learn about Zen teachings and the teachings of Zen master Dogen, the founder of the Sótó school of medieval Japanese Buddhism. I will present Dogen's masterpiece Shobogenzo (Treasury of the True Dharma Eye) and explain Dogen's thinking and his view of Zen practice based on examples from the Treasury itself. |
