| Description | The lecture introduces the basic characteristics of a participatory museum and related terms used as a socially purposeful museum, an inclusive museum, community museum. It outlines the genesis of the approach of museums to visitors in the Czech (Czechoslovak) Republic after 1989 and the main trends of development, including the identification of visitors with special educational needs. It presents examples of current museum practice and institutions that take into account the needs and specifics of their audience in their activities. |
