Description | Smart Grids represent an important instance of cyberphysical systems for the energy sector. Due to the many layers involved and the complexities of interrelations, co-simulations have emerged as a way to integrate results from different simulators. In this paper, we propose a study of the possibilities of simulating node failure scenarios with a modification of the Mosaik co-simulation platform to allow for dynamic topologies changes. We show how co-simulations can help in determining the impact of different failure patterns using a sample scenario of households and PV units. |
