| Description | The study is focused on the Salon Prose by Jan Lier in the Lumír Magazine in the Years 1878–1880. Elements of several literary styles simultaneously dominated the prose at the time. The Parnassian features (ornamental descriptions, uniqueness of gems) coexisted with elements of conventional entertaining literature, which was dominated by the romantic plot. |
