This publication contains the results of student research, which formed one of the basic ones pillars, on which the traveling exhibition currently stands. Work mainly with professional literature and sources, also published on the Internet, were finally completed in the form of articles and articles. The authors of museology participated as authors, either as independent authors or in author's groups, focused according to defined thematic units. The publication contains 14 articles, focusing on either selected infectious diseases, plague, true smallpox, typhus, cholera, tuberculosis, influenza, venereal diseases, etc., but also for manifestations of diseases in society and culture: population development, fine arts, cult of saints, Marian columns, poetry and prose and the like. Contributions are not aimed at solving or clarifying medical, or. biological problems of individual diseases, but their aim was to capture basic information about the causes of diseases, history, personalities who participated in their identification, resp. invented effective treatment. They devote space to information about possible protection, prevention, mention treatment options. In socio-culturally oriented contributions, space was also devoted to more specific ones exemplary. As far as possible, the individual posts sought to capture the outlines problem also in relation to Moravia, or to the Czech lands.
