| Description | The paper deals with the correlations between the development of media presentation and sound recordings of cimbalom music bands in the Uherské Hradiště area (ethnographic area of Slovácko). Occasionally, the visual or audio-visual aspects of presentation complementing some developmental tendencies are also taken into account. The regional focus of the paper arises from the author's continuous research on cimbalom music bands within this area (since 2018). Furthermore, it is the area with a long tradition and the quantity of currently active cimbalom music bands spanning up to four generations, which makes it possible to assume a generalization of some conclusions. In some contexts, the paper also attempts to name or quantify the motivations and approaches of performers to the sound recordings creative process or ways of promoting them using the contemporary possibilities of mass media. |
