| Description | The paper covers very briefly the development of industrial archaeology and aims at informing about the state of industrial archaeology here. The text devotes to archaeologically excavated relicts of textile plants of J. Ch. Beigmann, J. Bochner, and M. Redlich on the premises of former Vlněna in Brno, between the streets of Dornych and Mlýnská. Among other excavated relicts belong the dye-house of E. Schwarz (premises of former Vlněna) and dye-houses in Dornych street (Springer) and Křenová street (L. Schultz and W. Schwab), also in Brno. The last part of the texts visualizes the development of industrial archaeology of textile factories in Brno. |
