| Description | The collective of authors analyzed Czech and German museum journals in Moravia and Silesia from a broader time and territory perspective. The aim was to show the extent to which these type of periodicals are anchored in the tradition represented by the publishing activities of the National Museum in Prague and scientific societies and associations in the Czech lands. The issue was examined in the context of three major provincial centers (Brno, Olomouc, Opava). The research focused mainly on the evaluation of the overall importance and contribution of individual journals, their professional orientation and on personalities from the ranks of editors, co-working editors and authors of studies and articles. |
