| Description | The book is the first commentary of the initial stages of Ugo Foscolo's poem "Le Grazie", the so called "Prima redazione dell'Inno" and "Seconda redazione dell'Inno". Due to its fragmental and incomplete form, "Le Grazie" has been neglected by scholars. My research establishes "Le Grazie" as one of the most important work of the 19th century European literature. The books also explores Foscolo's aethetic, figurative and literary sources. |
