| Description | In my contribution I would like to focus on the historiographic descriptions of Central Asia in the sources of classical authors. Central Asia also in the past was an area that was completely different for western society. A sedentary way of life on the one hand, and a wild, nomadic life on the other. I would like to use a comparative method to analyse the descriptions of classical authors from ancient period and analyse how much the authors differed or unified in the descriptions of Central Asia and connect informations from past to present. |
