| Description | Jan Novák (1921-1984), a pianist and composer, whose significant birth anniversary we are commemorating this year, can be said to be a rather hidden treasure of Czech culture. He is one of the universal creators and performers, whose curriculum includes compositions for chamber and symphony orchestras, choral music, compositions for theater and film. We asked Martin Flašar, associate professor of musicology at Masaryk University, to talk about this remarkable figure. |
