| Description | The paper summarizes the concept of space-time pulsation given by I. Pospíšil in his monograph on the Russian chronicle when he uses this term as a useful tool for the analysis of literary work. The paper discusses whether this tool can help to analyse also other than the genre of a chronicle. It turns out that the concept of pulsation can also be used in characterizing the structure of the short story genre. |
