Description The COVID-19 pandemic has intensely affected the operations of many business corporations. Due to the need to minimize direct interpersonal contact and keep human society running, there has been a massive shift of various business activities into cyberspace, whether it was the use of online meetings, home-office modes or more frequent shopping through e-shops. In addition to highlighting the importance of an effectively set legal regulation of electronic legal actions (e.g., electronic identification), the situation has also led to an intense increase in the number of cyber-incidents (i.e., 468 reported in 2020 versus 217 in 2019).1 In this article, I therefore focus on the impact of selected aspects of the legal regulation on the state of cybersecurity in the operations of business corporations.
