Description | Flannery as an art of life In recent years, flaneurism has become a theme close to the aesthetics of everyday life, which shows that this aimless wandering through the city need not be limited to the well-known Baudelairean characteristics that Walter Benjamin later grasped. It is interesting that the German bohemian Nora Schmidt has devoted a voluminous monograph to Czech flaneur literature, while our scholars have dealt with the topic rather marginally. In the present paper I would like to point out some contemporary texts connecting flaneurism with the aesthetics of everyday life (Thomas Leddy, etc.) and at the same time present its specific grasp in the Brno environment of the 1970s. |
