| Description | The paper presents the psychosocial crises by which developmental psychology (especially the theory of Erik Erikson) characterizes the turning point between younger school age and the beginning of adolescence. Through literary interpretation analysis, the themes of these developmental crises and the specifics of their authorial treatment in literature for children and youth are revealed, specifically in the prose of Jiří Stránský Pearl Mussel and in the prose of Sapphire Kingfishers and Glutaman by Bogdan Trojak. |
