Description The article is devoted to the analysis of the text, in which E.N. Chirikov in 1922 comprehends his views on the socialist revolution 1917, referring to how F.M. Dostoevsky treated radical revolutionaries and the idea of a socialist revolution. The analysis proves the similarity of E.N. Chirikov’s views to F.M. Dostoevsky and the high assessment of the warnings included in the novels “The Devils”, Crime and Punishment” and “The Idiot”, as well as the deep feeling of humanism manifested in the views of E.N. Chirikov.
