| Description | This tald will introduce the new web-based proofreader for Czech texts, Opravidlo, available at http://www.opravidlo.cz. It will show the possibilities of this new tool and will present the joys and sorrows of machine corrections of Czech text. The proofreader is based on formal language rules that enable the recognition of language errors. These are divided by type into several modules, e.g. punctuation, grammatical agreement, capitalization, typography and others. Opravidlo also includes a typo corrector, which is based on an extensive dictionary of Czech word forms. The error marking is linked to the explanatory part of the Internet Language Reference Book. |
