Description The Russo-Ukrainian war – ongoing since 2014 – is generally considered mostly a political and military conflict, but there are other factors coming into play on both sides of the conflict, religion being one of them. Beside Orthodox Christianity (and Churches), Islam and others, this is also the case of Modern Paganism, as there were and are Pagan soldiers and military groups and battalions consisting solely or mostly of Pagans. Are the motivations and actions of these individuals and groups affected by their faith? Does their faith affect the way they perceive the war?
