Description | The speech explores a potential for combining dance history and theory and dance pedagogy in practice. It is based on the concept of kinaesthetic history and is intended to offer possible ways of connecting theater theorists with dance practice and, conversely, to bring dance theory and history closer to dancers. The practice of the movement experienced on one's own body contributes to a greater understanding of a dance performance or dance technique. Theoretical concepts, on the other hand, bring depth to dance practice and techniques, expand the creative possibilities of dancers, anchor them in their field, and provide freedom through defined boundaries. |
