Citation
Description The paper focused on the role of Czech historical biopic St. Wenceslas (1930) in the process of shaping the state cultural politics and creating a favourable propaganda while addressing the international forum. It demonstrated how the production of the film participated in the nation-wide celebrations in Czechoslovakia in 1929 and how the film was seen as a suitable export article in promoting the Czechoslovak state abroad.
