Description In 2021, the MOOC “Nederlands voor gevorderde anderstaligen” (Dutch for Advanced Students) was launched. This language course was developed by and for teachers of Dutch as a Foreign Language. The MOOC for B2 and C1 students can be used as an e-learning course or in a blended way. Students are asked to follow an online module at home and are encouraged to actively use the acquired knowledge and vocabulary during lectures. For this flipped classroom approach “class suggestions” were developed – ready-made speaking and writing tasks from which teachers can make a selection. In this presentation the project (which I initiated and co-authored) was briefly introduced. With the help of a questionnaire and additional interviews, I mapped out to what extent and in what way the MOOC is used within Dutch Studies at European universities. Finally, I gave practical tips for teachers who (want to) offer this course in a blended and flipped way.
