A unique collaboration of two respected improvisers/composers who relentlessly seek beyond the instrument limitations. Extended techniques, preparations, usage of electronics, that’s common base forVrba and Ulher, a duo that came into being after a very successful concert at The NOW now festival in Sydney, whose organisers had the superb idea to make them play together. Carefully listening and inspiring each other for new trajectories during their instant compositions, exploring sonic possibilities oftheir instruments and common environment, they create a joyful journey for the listeners.Their first album Schallschatten has been released in 2021 by the Slovenian label Inexhaustible Editions. |
