| Description | This literary afternoon was dedicated to the translatory activities by Věra Kockánová, the most significant contemporary Czech translator from Lithuanian. Věra Kociánová presented her former and recent translations, explained specific marketing and financial contexts relevant for the translations from Lithuanian, discussed specific linguistic and technical issues of these translations (e. g. "Siberian haiku") and encouraged young baltists to dedicate their effort for the translation from Lithuanian. |
