Description | The presentation introduced creation of a visual language learning pathway as an instrument for reflection of one own's language learning. The reflection can lead to determination of learner's learning style and succesful and unsuccesful strategies. Such reflection can be used also for planning ones language learning and development goals. Focus on reflection and self-regulatory activities can be extremely beneficial in deaf and hard-of-hearing learners. This group of learners often lacks experience with such activities and strategies. Also the learners often lack self-confidence in language learning due to their previous educational experiences and various cognitive and affective factors. |
