Description The doctrine offers many benefits associated with particopatory budgeting. However, the implementation of participatory budgeting is unique in every country and does not only bring advantages. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate whether participatory budgets aimed at improving the environment correspond to the goals of cohesion policy.
