Description The article takes note of the little-known fact that on the southern front of the Great War, created in 1915 on the borders of Greece with the then-occupied "Serbian" Macedonia, a number of Czech volunteers served in the ranks of the divisions of the Serbian army, many of whom also died there. In the spring of 1918, the majority of them were transferred to France in the emerging Czechoslovakian brigade.
