| Description | In order to provide a tool for converting e-books to the new format and its use by the MLP and other libraries, a Manual and Methodology for Creating Web Books was created. The methodology was primarily a living material throughout the project, which was continuously updated based on feedback. According to the schedule, it was published as a website (available here: https://kisk.phil.muni.cz/redesign-knihovnich-sluzeb-2020/metodika-vytvareni-webovych-knih-v-knihovnach). The material briefly describes the basic possibilities of making e-books available in libraries in order to preserve the practice developed within the project and increase its sustainability in the MLP and to provide information for other libraries. It contains chapters describing the workflows for the acquisition of e-books, the processing of links to freely available resources and, above all, the production of e-books in a specific MLP practice. The final part is a manual for conversion to the new format, which has been practically tested in the environment of the application guarantor (MLP). |
