| Description | Jan Šerých's exhibition at Fait Gallery MEM, entitled On the Consistency of Science, presents an installation of twelve large-format prints created from the Google Earth virtual globe, a software that combines images taken by different satellite image providers, with different spatial resolution or level of detail, with different colors and from different times. In it, Šerých finds images that, rather than a view of a specific place on Earth, reveal the nature of this view itself, composed of different layers. |
