| Description | In this paper, we present the process of creating individual game conditions for the experimental investigation of the effect of competitiveness on arousal and aggressive behavior. Despite the importance of accurately setting the independent variable, relatively little attention is paid to such a procedure in the literature, which then might complicate the effort to draw general conclusions about the true effect of violent games. |
