| Description | The aim of this poster is to present a general overview of finds dated to the Late Iron Age found in the Jičín region and to provide a comprehensive picture of the human activity in this chronological and geographical framework. The majority of the presented find collection consists of already published outcomes of settlements and burial sites, which were examined by the staff of the Jičín Museum and University of Hradec Králové during rescue and research excavations. This overview is supplemented by a collection of mostly small finds obtained from amateur museum collaborators during surface collections or detector surveys. As this contribution is largely based on already published or forthcoming work, it is meant rather as an honour to the scholars and regional researchers of the LaTene period in the region. |
