| Description | The presentation examines the subject "Biblical texts in Slavic translations", which is studied in the master's program "Slavic Studies" of the Masaryk University in the Czech Republic. The subject requires knowledge of the Old Bulgarian language, which is also acquired within the specified master's program. It represents a look at the translation of individual parts of the Bible (New Testament texts) and mainly a lexical analysis of certain words, word combinations and phraseology, originally related to the biblical text and which form a characteristic cultural layer in the phraseology of a number of European languages. |
