| Description | The purpose of the text is to indicate the different attitudes towards the mastery of the native language in the Bulgarian diaspora in the Czech Republic and the degree of awareness of the need for training in this language in the society where the main language is different from Bulgarian. The results of a longitudinal study, including dozens of respondents from different social strata of the diaspora, are presented, and their language attitudes are analyzed. Indicated for different points of view regarding bilingualism, bilingual education and the maintenance and development of the native Bulgarian language in a foreign language environment. |
