| Description | The article deals with a well-known part of psychology of personality, the theme of temperament, in new connection to handwriting analysis. The author wants to inform readers about the possibilities of using handwritten materials to assign a type of temperament to a writer. In the first part some basic information about graphology, handwriting analysis and the procedure of analysing writing is introduced. In the second part some relevant terms related to the field of temperament are defined and rudimentary typologies of temperament (Hippokrates, Kretschmer, Eysenck etc) are mentioned. In the last part of the article we discuss relations between grafological signs and temperament characteristics. In the end readers can view some examples of manuscripts of each type of temperament. |
