| Description | The propaganda of the contemporary Russian state is manifested, among other things, in a specific genre of fantasy novels about the so-called "Popadantsi", a term for someone who suddenly finds himself in another world or another time. Often these are novels in which time travelers "correct" the mistakes of the past and contribute to the greatness of Russia. The Conference Paper aims to introduce this genre and how it works with Russian nationalist sentiment. |
