| Description | The presentaton "Reflection of the new reality in the lexicon of the Russian language" explores the impact of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine on the lexical level. The presentation considers new terms, words and expressions, occasionalisms that appeared after February 2022. Some trends are also considered - euphemisation, return to Soviet rhetoric, coarsening, hate speech. The report is intended to record the ongoing processes. |
