Description Active presentations: All that is good to know for practice about the clinical phase of drug development, CZECRIN Academy and Statistical design and data analysis in clinical trials, the role of molecular genetic testing and pathologist's conclusions in personalized clinical trial designs (interactive workshop). CZECRIN's large research infrastructure provides a comprehensive education system in drug research and development for its employees and educates other interested parties from the general professional public who participate in the preparation and implementation of academic (non-commercial) clinical studies. In the subsequent subsidy period 2023-2026, not only the field of education, which at the moment covers the entire life cycle of medicines, but also medical devices, food supplements, and other related topics is expanding, but mainly the population for which education is intended has expanded. In cooperation with the MUNI Junior Academy, webinars and seminars are held for primary and secondary school students, where children learn how medicine is created. An escape game on the topic of clinical trials was also prepared for them, where they tried to prepare the drug being evaluated, assign patients to the study, and at the same time solve various riddles. In cooperation with the MUNI University of the Third Age, a series of lectures for seniors is prepared on various topics, including drug safety. Last but not least, CZECRIN focuses on the general public and, in cooperation with EUPATI, participates in educating patients and their representatives so that they can actively participate in all phases of clinical research. Education in clinical research is an integral part and a basic prerequisite for all participants who prepare or implement clinical studies. Continuing education is a requirement of the concept of good clinical practice. Not only for these reasons, the large research infrastructure of CZECRIN significantly contributes to the improvement of the qualifications and expertise of workers through a comprehensive system of education in the field of clinical studies, which is freely available to all collaborating institutions forming the national network of CZECRIN. CZECRIN also emphasizes the involvement of patients and patient representatives in the entire process of clinical drug research, which can only be realized if patients are informed and educated.
