| Description | The technical solution concerns lyophilized single-dose forms (tablets), the active ingredient of which are bacterial viruses (bacteriophages or phages), either in the form of phage lysates or purified. The composition of this form balances the composition of individual components, ensuring appropriate technical parameters for the medicinal/application form, while maintaining the maximum stability of the active substances during freeze drying and maintaining their long-term stability. The active ingredients are two phages that specifically act against the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This application form can thus be used in the treatment of bacterial infections caused by pathogenic strains of S. aureus and P. aeruginosa in clinical practice. |
