| Description | In Natalie Perkof's poetic land, inspired by the environment of computer simulations, the ancient idea of the tree as a symbol of protection, wisdom, serenity and rebirth comes to life. In her paintings and objects, the root system of the tree represents a "rooting station" through which man restores his vital functions and anchors himself in today's world. He draws new energy, thanks to which he is able to cope with negative emotions and experiences. Message of man's search for wholeness and harmony with nature in a world of climate, war and other crises also recalls the sacred precincts of ancient peoples, where trees symbolically connected the spiritual and physical spheres. |
