| Description | The text concerns on the analysis of L. N. Andreev's short story Maiseiilaise. The emphasis of the analysis is on how Andreev ends up expressing the sources of the hero's contempt from the point of view of his fellow prisoners and how his situation is depicted in the composition of the story, which culminates in full loneliness and even isolation from others. The overcoming of this isolation in the final scene of the story is also pointed out. |
