| Description | An international scientific conference was organised by the Institute of History at the Faculty of Philosophy of Masaryk University on the topic of fear and its various forms in the perception of people in Medieval and Early Modern Eastern Europe. The conference presented specific figures that symbolized this evil in the Eastern European space, as well as their reflection in written sources and historiography. The conference was attended by twenty-two scholars from Poland, Slovakia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Spain, and the Czech Republic. |
